Truths of Old

I didn't work yesterday after all.

I'm becoming rather suspicious of one of the locum agencies I've signed with. They promise the moon, but deliver little pebbles instead. Everytime they secure me a job, they ring back later to announce that it's already been filled...

I'm working today though. One of the other companies I've signed with is decidedly more professional, complete with a website that allows you to pick your jobs online. Impressive.

So instead, after spending most of yesterday asleep in preparation for the night shift that never was, I;

1) contemplated fencing by the Thames, and decided I was far too lazy to, and instead

2) went to leicester square and had a double scoop baileys Haagen Daz shake, and

3) watched Garfield the Movie, by myself.

I don't watch movies alone very often. I think this was the third time I'd ever done it. In times past people were always asking me out to movies, so I just tagged alone. It's a strangely liberating experience.
Garfield wasn't bad; it wasn't that good either, but Jennifer Love Hewitt made up for it... :p

nah, i guess maybe it was just too american for me. But the doggies were so cute, so... shrug.

1) Ride the London Eye

2) Catch sunrise on the Thames, somehow

3) Meet Rachel Stevens

4) Visit Warwick Castle at noon and watch a battle re-enactment

5) Visit the London Zoo

6) Walk through hyde park again

7) Eat breakfast on Regent's Park

8) Visit the British Library

9) Watch the Woman in White

10) Step into a comedy club
